Tire Rotation Pattern

Have seen several discussions on various sites about poor tire wear.

The owners manual says to rotate front to rear keeping tires on the same side. Perhaps there are some differences but my base 05 did not come with directional tires.

I've recently put on a set of Good Year comfort treds, which made a great ride improvement. My plan is to rotate them in a criss cross or figure 8 pattern, which is also what my tire dealer suggested.

Perhaps some that are seeing what in their opion might be accelerated wear should reconsider their rotating patterns.

Re: Tire Rotation Pattern

I put those same tires on mine and they ride great. Hopefully I'll get more than 30K out of them!

Re: Tire Rotation Pattern

The used car dealer I bought my 2005 Vibe from put new tires on mine, but they are "Achilles" tires so I"m not sure how good they are. I do think they show a directional arrow on them.
