help

My old grand marqis just stopped running. The day before i filled it up wit gas and i want to transfer that gas into my new car. I bought a siphon and a red can but i have no idea on how to use it. Hope someone can help me out with info on getting tthe gas out.

Force the longer part of the hose thru the gas filler neck as far as it will go. Leave the container on the ground. The other end has to reach into the container. Now keep pressing the pump till the line fills with fuel and comes out freely and fills the container. Don't leave the container on the trunk. If pump does not work, the other end is probably not into the fuel. Pull it out and see if it is wet. If it is wet then you are okay. If gas still does not come out, suck on the other end of the hose till the line is 3/4 full and quickly insert it into the container. Good luck.
