Re: "On the way home from work today"
No I wouldn't say that. (You know this is going to start something new). I would say there is better ways to help the environment. I'm installing a new cat on the car that should do a better job and with better flow.
But this is something that no one can win |

Re: "On the way home from work today"
Today I ran the tank low enough to refill tank. I always use Mobile. Well the last time I filled up was with Hess. Power has picked up a lot. But the power around 5800 (just before it shifts to 2nd) drops off. I wondering if the gas was bad, and messed up the fuel filter? OR if the CPU is going. 5800 is the shift point set in the computer.
Why is nothing black and white? Welcome back BIG-L. We have been picking on you while you were gone. |

Sorry, I didn't reply to you.
Yes it goes "flat". Supercharger is just whinning. Then it sounds like it slows, and shifts. |

Re: "On the way home from work today"
Sorry for keeping this one going, but it's an on going story.
5:00 AM today, left for work. Made it about a half mile down US 19. Car shook, lunged the "service engine" light came on an it stopped running. Car restarted, and almost stopped at a idle. Turned it around to bring it home, and it ran like junk all the way home. Missing bad. Will have to have it towed to dealer today. And break the GTP out of storage. Thanks, Jim |

Flat
Same thing happened on my Grand Prix, I needed a new fuel pump, the pump was great for around town and on the highway, but wouldn't feed enough fuel to rev up past 4500 for some reason. The fuel pump was quiet...but I replaced it like I was advised by the Garage and it works SUPER now.

Re: "On the way home from work today"
Found out what was wrong with mine, a while back. Turned out to be a wire. It runs from the ICM and the PCM. Replaced wire, and changed PCM for reprogramed one. Which started another story.
