"BIG" Fuel Millage Drop???
In my previous post, I stated that when I put the Air on, the car misses a lot. I have now also noticed that I only got 39 mi on a quarter of a tank of gas??
Just talking to the mechanic regarding the miss, he said it may be a vaccum leak?? he will check on Wed. Could a vaccum leak cause this Big Drop in gas millage?? The car is a 2002 24 valve Duretac with 37K Thanks for all the help from you folks !!!!!!!!! Rob Roy |

Re: "BIG" Fuel Millage Drop???
I have a 2000, I should get 90 miles on a quatrer tank, I get 75 right now. Not a large gap, but we found that the EGR pipe had a crack in it and resulted in it breaking when trying to remove it. The crack probally will be my problem, so vacum leaks can result in it.
