'01 - No Heat!!
I have a 2001 Taurus SES. I just bought this car 2 months and it currently has 70k miles. About a month ago the heat went out and so I had the radiator flushed and the heat worked perfectly until now. The heat works for a minute when you turn on the car but it fades to cool, and if i turn off the heat for 10 minutes and then turn it back on, there is some heat and then fades to cool after about a minute.
Does anyone have any suggestions? |

Re: '01 - No Heat!!
Did you have the heater core flushed separately from the rest of the cooling system? After the car warms up, while running, feel the heater hoses to see if they are both hot. Clogged heater cores seem to be common for these cars and usually have to be flushed by themselves. What temp thermostat are you using? The engine may not be getting hot enough (although unlikely).
