Re: Porsche meet
Because I'm quite new here, I've got many Porsches without an English progress report. This will change for my new projects.
Here are the cars from my own collection: Porsche 356 A WIP This car is being made for a customer who's friend drove this car. Unfortunately his friend died too young and he asked me to build this scale model als a memorial for the widow of the man. The car has been heavilly modified. The interior was stripped to the bare minimum. I've added custom made Corbeau rally seats, gauges, seat belts and fire extinguiser. The body was cleaned a bit, by removing some of the chrome trims. The engine was completly alterd. It first was a 4 cylinder Carrera engine which was build back to a classic 4 cylinder boxter (like the old VW Beetle). And not to miss, all decals were specially created for this project. Dutch Thread: http://www.modelbrouwers.nl/forum/ph...=16549&start=0 Porsche 911 Turbo from 1975 (the first factory Porsche turbo sold) No modifications to this Porsche. It was build OOB with the exception of seat belts. Dutch thread: http://forum.modelbrouwers.nl/phpBB2...pic.php?t=1680 Porsche 911 3.3 Turbo Flatnose This car was build OOB with the exception of the added seatbelts. Dutch thread: http://www.modelbrouwers.nl/forum/ph...opic.php?t=869 Porsche 911 964 Carrera 2 This model was build OOB with the exception of seat belts. Dutch thread: http://forum.modelbrouwers.nl/phpBB2...ic.php?t=20835 Porsche 911 964 Targa. This car was build for a customer. I changed the rims and mirrors and painted the car in Nachtblau metalic. I also added seat belts, an antenna and the owners own license plates. Dutch thread: http://forum.modelbrouwers.nl/phpBB2...pic.php?t=5017 Porsche 911 964 Turbo Veilside The veilside part where part of a special Fujimi kit. It was my first resin work, but it turned out as a ncie result. The body color is a mix of aluminum with e few drops of orange. Besides the resin, I only added seatbelts. Dutch thread: http://forum.modelbrouwers.nl/phpBB2...opic.php?t=855 Porsche 911 964 America Roadster This is a Turbo Look cabrio specially build for the American market. The kit however had some flaws, so I had to make some modifications: - removed side blinkers - added a third brake light - added seat belts Dutch thread: http://forum.modelbrouwers.nl/phpBB2...ic.php?t=10111 Porsche 911 964 Targa KLPD This car was quite a project. I took me more then 5 evenings masking the car for the separate colors. A police radio was added, rims where swapped, antennes were added, flashing light was added and the decals and plates where all exactly as it's 1994 1:1 counter part. Dutch Thread: http://forum.modelbrouwers.nl/phpBB2...pic.php?t=6569 Porsche 911 993 Carrera 2 Seat belts added. Dutch Thread: http://forum.modelbrouwers.nl/phpBB2...pic.php?t=1550 Porsche 911 993 Turbo WIP This car had a complete incorrect interior. It was a 964 interior which I completly rebuild to the correct 993 interior. That included remodeling the Porsche seats, of which I made my own resin copies. The brakes were replaced by PE discs and resin calipers. Dutch Thread: http://forum.modelbrouwers.nl/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=13292 Porsche 911 993 Turbo S Body modificatiosn to front bumper, air intakes, rear wing. The interior was ol wrong (964 model) and was completly altered to 993 standard. I've made the Porsche sport seats by remoddeling the incorrect ones and made it one of my own resin parts. I also added yellos seat belts. Large PE brake discs were added and special decals were created. Dutch Thread: http://forum.modelbrouwers.nl/phpBB2...ic.php?t=13292 Porsche 911 996 GT1 This car was 'down tuned' from a reacing version to a street version. I've added a second seat, removed the special racing equipment and added a read window. Dutch thread: http://www.modelbrouwers.nl/forum/ph...light=flatnose Porsche 911 996 GT3 This Porsche was kept almost OOB. Only the seat belts and PE brake discs were added. Dutch Thread: http://forum.modelbrouwers.nl/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=17036 Porsche 911 996 GT3RS Ths was probably my most intense project ever! The body and interior was bases on the GT3 and was then altered on the following parts: - air intakes front bumper - mk2 headlights - side skirts - rear bumper - engine lid en GT wing - custom made (by CNC machining) rims and tyres - all decals - roll cage - seat belts - muffler end pipes - PE brake discs and resin calipers Dutch Thread: http://forum.modelbrouwers.nl/phpBB2...pic.php?t=2390 Porsche 944 This 994 started out as a Turbo. The body work is kept like that, but the engine was brought back to a regular 4 cylinder engine. The interior was alterd a bit, to resemble the car of the customer. Furthermore all decals were created specially for this car. Dutch thread: http://forum.modelbrouwers.nl/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=10726 Porsche 968 I've only added seat belts and an antenna. Dutch thread: http://www.modelbrouwers.nl/forum/ph...pic.php?t=8362 Porsche 959 WIP Thread: http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=976297 Porsche Boxster WIP I've build this car for a customer. I've added PE brake discs and seat belts. The car is waiting for turbo rims. Dutch thread: Porsche Cayman S I've added the Crazy modeler PE set. Dutch thread: http://forum.modelbrouwers.nl/phpBB2...ic.php?t=12253 Last edited by Noosart; 02-02-2010 at 06:18 AM. |
