USA Dodge Stratus and European spec. Chrysler Stratus? Please help?

My father-in-law lives in Germany and drives a 1998 Chrysler Stratus.

He needs front, lower, control arm ball joint and bushings, and apparantly in Europe, they will only sell him the control arm and bushings as an assembly, and not the ball joint/bushings alone.

This is very expensive, and since I am going to be visiting germany over the holidays, he wishes me to bring the ball joint/bushings with me.

I need to know if I purchase these parts for a 1998 Dodge Stratus (USA spec.) will they work on his car? Are these cars mechanically identical?

Thanks, and hurry...leaving soon..
