These "auto sucks" people are pissing me off... Auto's aren't made for pure performance and that shouldn't be expected from them.
If I drive in traffic for four hours each day I don't want a manual transmission... that would be a very very poor decision. Autos have their place, so simply put, shut the fuck up. |

Isnt these forums for people to state facts and express thier
opionions? I agree automatics are better when driving in traffic, and Id say my auto is just as fast as a five speed until a certain speed though, but I dont think you need to come and tell people in here to shut the F@@@ up. |

my car's a 5 spd. and i drive threw really heavy traffic all the time without a problem.... i don't mind it at all, gives you somethin to do instead of being bored inching up
anyways it's pretty much just as easy, i just put my left foot in a different place. Instead of leavin it on the floor, i use it to hold the clutch half in... then i just keep it in first gear. and it's just like an auto, i just press the accelerator when i need to inch up not a big deal if you want to be mostly performance based, go for the stick.... if you don't like shifting threw traffic than whatever get what you want but it's a known fact that sticks are alot quicker, so what are we arguing?
