Re: MAZDASPEED Miata Specs

save your money. pick up a 99-2000 for 10-12 grand and drop 6 grand in FM goodies under the hood and blow the doors off the Mazda"speed" edition. plain and simple.

Re: MAZDASPEED Miata Specs

ha, sorry guys... you have to realize something about those FM miatas... if youre doing these modds to a 04 miata... then you have something call VVT.. if you want a variable timing system with a turbo drive a honda.... the mazdaspeed miata is an impressive start to modding the miatas... ill get back to you when i boost it up... granted.. i appreciate the older miatas.. my family has 4 miatas and my girlfriend just bought her first... the end...

Re: MAZDASPEED Miata Specs

the 2000 and newer have the VVT and you can still run a turbo on them, but only up til about 9psi and then you start having issues. You can swap in a 99 head or you can disengage the VVT. Have a nice day.

Masdaspeed Miatas do not have variable valve timing, trust me, I have one, and so far mine is handling 11 lbs. of boost just fine. Modded a bit...

yes im aware that they dont have VVT... thats why i said "go drive a honda"... i have 2 MSMs both 04s (not that it matters in the way of perfromance opposed to the 05s)
