Re: Lamborghini Reventon by Fujimi

Seems excessive to me now that the Aventador is out, and they never updated the Murcielago and Gallardo kits. Feel like Fujimi could have exerted their effort elsewhere

Likely to be a dog of a seller.

Like you said the Murcie and Gallardo was forgotten...it's like they've woken up from a long coma and discovered Lambo again. Terrible lack of focus as usual.

Re: Lamborghini Reventon by Fujimi

Fujimi needs a Facebook page like Aoshima, so that they can get better market feedback!

It could always help, especially as the model building community gets smaller.

Sure makes you wonder how they currently arrive at their production decisions.

Re: Lamborghini Reventon by Fujimi

I'll just add this to the "thanks, but no thanks" list of models. The Aventador is much tastier, especially from Aoshima.

Fujimi wasn't even at the hobby show. How lame is that? They used to be on top of their game. Now...not so much.

There are actually some aspects of the prototype that look promising, so I'll sign up for curiosity's sake. But yeah, what a bummer. After that nice run just a few years back, they now have the distinction of what - the shittiest Pantera ever?

Re: Lamborghini Reventon by Fujimi

Funny how people kept wishing for various cars to be kitted and now when Fujimi is producing the kits all they get is bad comments.
Could you people get a grip for once and make up your minds? Do you want kit manufacturers to release new automotive kits?!

BTW, good news and I will sure buy this kit!

Good for you! I'm sure plenty will buy it and I certainly look forward to seeing them built. I don't have to have this one, and after the craptastic job they've done on the 458 and especially the Pantera, whilst their competition is getting better, well...I have a perfectly valid reason for having an opinion. I want new model cars, but I don't want to feel like I'm getting something inferior for my $$, and as for the Reventon, if it had been done when it was new and hot, long before the Aventador, they'd have probably sold one to me back then. I build 12-18 models a year, and I still can't keep up, so sometimes it's nice to say "thanks, but no thanks"

Re: Lamborghini Reventon by Fujimi

I fully agree about the quality of their latest releases, especially the Pantera which certainly isn't a hit.
Though to be honest if Fujimi's Pantera would be the only kit in 1/24th scale of this car many of us wouldn't have complained.
Their SLS, 458 and Aventador have been duplicated by other manufacturers and as such people have a choice and a chance to complain.

Unless someone else will duplicate the Reventon we'll have little to complain about.

Fujimi have released a lot of new automotive models during the last 4-5 years many of them of excellent quality or not released by any other manufacturer and as such I will not complain about them releasing a not yet kitted model.
I find other manufacturers duplicating what Fujimi has already released to be worse as they give us more of the same instead of diversifying the market, especially with an ever smaller buyer base.

Re: Lamborghini Reventon by Fujimi

Will def need to add this to my Must build list!
Hey at least Fujimi is releasing New kits unlike Tamiya who seems to be reliving their glory days of the 80s & 90s... Fujimi seem to be on a roll with their releases, giving the fans what weve wanted for so long!
Porsche GT3, BMW Z4 GT3, McLaren GT3, Avantador, GTR, & Now the Revention one of the most talked about cars of late.
Good on Fujimi keep it coming! Hey how about a McLaren F1?...

That link to Aoshima's Facebook is merely a SUGGESTION and interest telling Aoshima there are tons of people wanting a Mclaren F1 model. The response from Aoshima is not saying they will actually make one, just taking everyone's Facebook comments and pondering it like most feedback they receive.

Don't get me wrong, I'd LOVE to see a Mclaren F1 in 1/24 scale plastic but making assumptions from that Facebook post that they're already making it will only end up in disappointment.
