Im not even going to start why not to do this project but you did ask for some help. Even though I think dropping in a short block would be a better use of money.

lets start in the Front and work towards the back.
Engine Mounts
ECU/ECM from a vechile that came stock with a SR20DET
Transmission Mounts
you might get away without changing the rear-end
Thats just the overview of things.

The small block swap have been done to death. A SR20 or KA24 would be very different and a worth while swap. That's my .

sr20 s-10

Just so you know the swap is not by far the easiest but it can be done. To prove this theory, I have painstakingly installed one in my s-10; lots of hard work and long nites, made it possible. And I must say it sure is a lot of fun to drive!

Nasty, I know you're new, but this thread is two years old. Good rule of thumb is not to post on anything not on the first page of a forum. Given that this particular section, the "Nissan-Nonspecifc" section, doesn't get much traffic, always check the date the thread was started before posting here. If it was more than a month or two ago, don't post on it.

Starting a thread about your unique swap would be interesting though.

Long fun nights that is... sometimes... I learned to despise the headlight switch on the SR10... Then it can sneak up and pass me ... and I can't do anything about it.
