Almost Done with paint! ( lots of pics )
Well after about 2 months of my poor 240 sitting in my garage waiting for paint. its finally *almost* done haha. heres some pictures of my progess in the past few weeks. Its a medium silver with a slight metallic blue flake that you can only barely see in the sun. gives a nice touch, and the pictures dont do it justice, but enjoy anyway. should be completely put back together in a week or so
( turned out a lot straighter then i could of hoped for ) ( this is with the silver base coat) ( out into the sun!! ) Full body shots next week when its all together haha, next up rims and exhaust!

17x9.5 +12 GNs all around would be sick, but you should of rolled your fenders before paint though.....

Re: Almost Done with paint! ( lots of pics )
it means using different hammers and other tools (i know theres a certain roller tool that actually bolts to your suspension or brakes and uses a wheel to from the lip? someone help me with this) to shape your fenders into more of a lip. increases clearance, decreases chance of rub (same thing) and looks amazing when done right.

Re: Almost Done with paint! ( lots of pics )
And breaks the paint unless you spend all day on one fender so the lesson is to do it before you paint the car. lol

Re: Almost Done with paint! ( lots of pics )
i got a buddy whos family owns a wheel shop near me, says he can do it .. hopefully without messing up my paint. but lucky for me my brothers a professional body man so if anything needed to be fixed it would just be a matter of me buying him enough beer to move him to do it. you think 17x9.5 would need to be rolled? i dont know a ton about wheels, i dont even know anything about offset.

Re: Almost Done with paint! ( lots of pics )
you will definitly need a roll, as well as stretched tires, and a pull as well

Re: Almost Done with paint! ( lots of pics )
actually i believe 17x9.5 with aprox 25 - 35 offset will fit the rears without a pull, just a roll...and rolling and pulling WILL NOT HURT new paint, as its still semi pliable. just use alot of heat while doing it.
however additionally to the fronts, the most your really going to fit is pretty much a 17x9 on the front (either +12 or +20 seems to look good)
