Heater Controls Illumination

CAN ANY ONE TELL ME DO THE HEATER/VENT CONTROLS LIGHT UP OR NOT ON A 1999 VW BORA WHEN THE LIGHTS ARE ON?

I have the same question about a 2003 Bora. Are the Ventilation controls supposed to light up??

the answer is yes. the heater control is suppost to light up. it does have a very small bulb in the middle knob. turn the knob to the off position and pull out with some pliers. to removed the bulb is alittle tricky but just play with it and you'll get is out.

Thanks. I was able to get the fan control knob off as you described and carefully used a bird beak pliers to get the bulb out.

Installed the replacement and know my dash lights up as it should. Thanks again.
