I saw another vid of a renault f1 engine test somewhere on the net. its pretty sick stuff!

i wonder, did renault use the 110 degree setup in '05? or are they using it this year? they're the only ones experimenting this angle, right? cuz all the other cars use 90 degree setups as far as i know.

wow, does anyone know how much those put out? i think it's somewere around 800hp.

800 horses at only 18k rpm is impressive for the new V8s. At 160dB I don't think it'd pass noise tests for the road though...
