Need Help/Opinions w/ Accord Spoiler
Ok so i have a silver 2001 accord lx sedan and want to add a stock rear spoiler. I found one on ebay for about 100 shipped, unpainted but primerd ready to be painted. How much would a normal body shop charge to paint it and install it, any ideas? (live in Los Angeles, body shop on every corner) Also, I need to know if any of you would buy parts like this from ebay and if they fit good? And if you guys think its crappy quality and not worth the money let me know, especially if you have bought from this guy before. Thanks
Spoiler Is this the stock spoiler that im looking at on ebay on this car? Pic Pic2 Pic 3 If links dont work just copy paste http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/347045

you can do it yourself, but if you dont have any knowledge on it a bodyshop would probably charge dunno guessing less then 300? just to add the spoiler and paint it shouldn't cost much anyways.

Re: Need Help/Opinions w/ Accord Spoiler
well i'm not too sure how much it'll cost to paint, but shops like to charge an arm and maybe a leg or 2 for labor. you could mount them yourself, get some masking tape and tape some on ur trunk (so it wont scratch your paint) then mock the spoiler on the tape and mark where you want to drill the holes.
then drill hoes in them, make sure theres no wires on the other side tho, you wouldn't want to drill through the wires. but if you want to be safe go to a shop, ask around and get a quote. i'm just guessin its probably under 300 might cost 150ish not to sure. sorry for the run on sentences ^^ |
