cruise control quit on '92 bravada

Hi Gang, the Cruise Control failed on the Bravada after hitting some potholes.
After replacing the brakelight switch, the CC disconnect switch w/vacuum hose, checked voltage on the CC control switch and voltage going to the CC module, everything checked ok but still no CC. The troubleshooting section of the FSM said check the ground to the CC. After locating the wire, I found it connected so I wiggled it in hopes of a better connection then went for a test ride....and it worked. Evidently had lost enough to lose sufficient connection and wiggling the wire re-established ground.

Here's pic from the FSM. I marked the ground in red and notice it's on the left side of the harness before rising into a mass of wires and components....hand feel only.
