Anybody ever did Malibu ltz V6 transmission swap?

Hello maybe someone can answer a transmission swap question I've looked all over the internet and I can't find a straight answer about it ... anyways My 08 Malibu ltz V6 with a Hydra-Matic 6T70 six-speed automatic transmission that won't shift into any high gears when 1st and 2nd is fine but when it's time too go to 3rd gear rpms rev high and it sounds and feels like it's in neutral even if you put it in Manuel mode using the paddles on the steering will only shows M3 no higher gears And the reverse went out won't back up the 3.5r wave plate is bad there's no recall on it either guess I'm screwed there I really don't wanna scrap it And I don't wanna put another one of them junk transmissions from the junk yard in it cause it will have the same 3.5r wave plate problem and I not trying too do that I know the 2011 Malibu V6 Hydra-Matic 6T70 six-speed automatic transmission.GM fixed wave plate problem so if anyone has actually had the same problem with the 08 Chevy Malibu ltz V6 and did the swap and had success with it reply back thanks appreciate it
