hey demonx if you looking for me i drive one of two cars daily the contor it don`t stick out like it should. green/siver sport contor,with svt engine sawp. 240 hp. or my bet up 97 black sentra with big nissan sitcker in the back window speed feddist sticker on the front window.rims and green neons, cold air intake.

seee you out there, if it`s in the nissan al i`lll bee see is your tail lights. i don`t have shit it it.

Is it a stock SVT contour motor? Cause the 98 SVT contour makes 195hp.

I suspect he is talking about the 3.0 duratec swap fairly common on contour. Those can get fairly easily to 240hp.

Not heard of that swap before. Maybe he swapped in the 99 svt motor which makes 200 hp and modded it a bit

Its a fairly common swap in cougars and contours. You basically get the same engine as the jag.

i work at advance/ dis on main street.
yes it`s 99 engine swap iwth a few extras, but i was looking at the other swap all it is the older svt`s had the sho tarus 3.0 in them and it`s been done. you just don`t see them alot.

If I had the money, I would buy some nasty car, clear out the whole engine bay, re-do the body, everything, and drop a 700 cubic inch big block in like, Like a Ford Escort, or a 1970 something Honda Civic :silly2:

hey that 3.0 duratec into a contour, does anyone know if that would work in the reverse. As in putting a contours 5 speed into a taurus with the 3.0 duratec. New shift linkage aside what kinda work would that be
