Question Hardware/Gasket for Header Install

Hi All,

I'm ordering some ceramic DC sport headers. Does the header come with hardware. If not can I use new OEM hardware for the hook ups at the exhaust ports and the Cat? I used to do V8's before and I had to order special header bolts. What about the gasket, does that come with the header as well or do they come separately? Thanks everyone.

Regards,
Spotovi

I can. I will. I just wanted to know what the real package had in it and if I could reuse the hardware.

i bought a 4-1 dc ceramic header for my car and it didn't come with anything except the o2 sensor extension wire. however, my friend bought a dc 4-2-1 header for his 90 integ. ls, and his came with a new exhaust donut. the exhaust manifold gasket, that mates to the head, might be reusable, if in doubt, just go get another one.

actually all gaskets should be replaced whenever taken off. when tighened the gasket gets sandwiched between creating the seal. once its taken off, it is smashed and should be replaced to prevent exhaust leaks.

Ok so new gaskets. I wouldn't use the OEM one anyway. The port sizes will be wrong. So are the manifold bolts that are on now usable for a header.

I have the Ceramic 4-2-1. The stock bolts work just fine. All you need to buy is the new gasket for the exhaust ports. Go to any import shop they should have them for around 10 dollars or so.
