Yes. The regulator and spider are INSIDE the intake.

how long would it take someone who has never done one b-4 guesstamite? what would cause the back fire in intake? why would it quit when you turn it off and back on? im frustrated with it!! thanks...

i have not attempted to mess with intake i left the van with a buddy who seems to think its the coil.. can a coil cause these ploblems? im a pick one up this week end and bring it to him.. its sparking between the copper inside plastic to the meatal around coil..

Any time you find arcing around the coil going to ground you have problems.
Arcing anywhere its not supposed to be will cause problems.

changed coil it still acts up after 15 min of driving back fires trew intake and exhaust.. turn it off and restart it its fine for 15 more min

still acting up but its getting worse so now the intake has ben removed and fuel preasure regulator changed, i guess wires and injector checked out.. the computer has ben changed ingiton modual,plugs,wires,cap,rotor,and coil.. it still runs great but then after 15 min it runs like a dog hesitating severly it is getting worse.

I would check for a bad electrical connection or defective wire. Put your hand on the wire to the connections and wiggle them and try to find the bad connection. I have found a lot of people pull hard on the wires to disconnect them and a wire breaks to the terminal.
