1991 Integra GS wont start
Ok I wrecked the car the last part of last year (2006) and fixed most of it 1 month afterwards. The car ran fine for about 1 month and then it died in the road. Since then I have several mechanics look at it and tell me what they think is wrong with it and none of them can give me an answer. I had one tell me the distributor was bad so i just changed it and it still will not start. They car will crank but will not start completely. If anyone knows anything that i can do, please let me know.

Re: 1991 Integra GS wont start
-check timing
-check for spark -check fuel -check all grounds -check the timing belt and make sure that the crank pulley and both cam pullies are in sync...my timing belt stretched and tore a little, but not enough to break and it threw off the crank pulley by 4 teeth. When i inspected it, i didnt see the rip because it was on the bottom side..crank the car with the timing belt visible after that, i dont really know....bad gas maybe?

Also check main relay under drivers side .
My 91 integra 1.8 non vtec is also not running. It cranks an runs for 1\2 a second and dies straight away. It has no ignition lights on the dash when the key in on position. It has Spark,Timing, Fuel, Compression, air. i'v tried the main relay, and its no different.. Also , the dist was repalced 1 yr ago. |
