HOT ROD SUNDAY AT MOROSO!

Sunday, August 5 will be even warmer than usual as HOT ROD SUNDAY returns to Moroso Motorsports Park. Drag Racing, Car & Truck Show, Car Corral, Manufacturer’s Restoration Parts and a Swap Meet come together at Moroso Motorsports Park for one day to create the perfect place for car lovers of all types to congregate and enjoy the finest examples of automobiles in Florida.
HOT ROD SUNDAY starts out with the best of Florida’s Custom Cars and Hot Rods arriving for their spot in the Car & Truck show. Here they will vie for awards in over classes not to mention the $500 award for being named “Best of Show.”
Take a stroll over to our Midway after the car show and see the HOT ROD SUNDAY Vendor area, browse the manufacturers’ booths and check out all the Restoration Parts and Go-Fast Goodies that just might make you think about adding some trinkets to your own project. Can’t find what you need? Well then head over to the Swap Meet. Maybe you will just find that hard to find piece that will complete your Hot Rod.
Now don’t think for a minute that this day is a peaceful day in the sun looking at beautiful automobiles.
The real HOT RODS will be taking it to the Moroso Motorsports Park’s NHRA ¼ Drag Strip.
The Quick 16 & Stock Suspension classes will be lighting up the Track while they race for their share of over $3000 in total Prizes. The sizzle continues with a Gamblers’ Race for the Super Pro, Pro, Pro-Bike and Street Bike. These classes will cause the thermometer to rise as they compete for “Bragging Rights”.
Moroso Motorsports Park’s track is not just reserved for the Best Racers in Florida during HOT ROD SUNDAY. This day will also be your chance to see if your car or truck is as fast as you think or that you have what it takes as Test & Tune will be open as well.
