88 f150

I have a 88 f150 C6 overdrive trans and it's locked in park, anyone have any suggestions

Try checking the linkage it could be loose. Try moving it manually on the side of the transmission. If it won't move pull the transmission pan and look for a damaged part.
Maybe a used transmission or rebuild is needed.

yep disconnected the linkage dropped the pan it only moves about 1/4 in. also it won't start in park. guess i'm going to have to drop the valve body to see up in there.
