Question Just curious about 90 caprice?

Just wondering what problems would a knock sensor cause. Would it set off any other code?

post the DTC fail code...

knock sensors cause a timing issue ..could cause the timing to be retarded poor mileage'/power/engine runs hotter..

connections to the sensor / wiring must be good..
