1988, 929 Heated Seats not working.
Bought the car "as is", previous owner stated that the heated seats were no longer working. I did check the fuses and they all seem to be OK, even though I don't know which specific fuse controls the seats. As for the toggle switches controlling the heat, the passenger side one lights-up, when engaged in the ON position, not so for the driver's side. Any ideas on what my next course of action should be? Thanks.

Take it to an electrician to have it checked. Usually it's a wire or something of that nature. Could be a number of possibilities. If you live in the city, just go to a local electronic auto store or something like that and have them give it a once over. You'll definitely get an answer there.

Heated seats
My 1988 929 seat button for the driver side works, but the light in the button doesn't. The passenger side light button works, but the heater doesn't (or so my wife says - I'm waiting for a really cold day to verify. Shouldn't be long now, as I live in eastern Canada). Anyway, I can dig up more on this if you want, as the circuit is described in my 1989 shop manual.
