1/4 time
Sorry this might be kind of a weird question because its not a fast bike but does anyone know what the quarter mile or 0-60 time would be for a 1991 250 nighthawk im thinking about getting a bike and theres a 91 250 nighthawk around here for cheap and I just wanted to see how it would compare to my trans am.Thanks

Ha. Ha. Ha. that's what you'll say the first time you take it and compare it to a transam. 250 nighthawk is shall we say ball less. I used one for my license test. That's about all I'd recommend it for. If you're wanting a more sporty feel in a small bike, upgrade to a larger parallel twin. I bought a new Rebel 250 a while back and sold it a week later. Look for an 80's cm400 series or rebel 450 if you want the small bike with a bit of sport. My 81cm400e may not be faster than a transam, but on two wheels it's got plenty of spirit. The parallel 250 line from honda seems to serve only one purpose, MSF classes and License tests. I don't know 1/4 mile times on it, but to be honest, I'd say its gotta be up there in the range.
