What was your last vehicle before Tacoma?
Just curious as to what people were driving before getting their Tacoma. Some people are new to trucks in general, some have never ahd one. What category are you?
Me - I traded a '90 Corvette for mine. People think I''m crazy but I tell them I traded sports car looks for truck reliability and utility. This is my first truck, and now, I don't see myself buying a 'car' again.  Robert

2002 Volkswagen Passat 1.8T Wagon - yes, big change - but I've always been a truck guy at heart. I had a Pathfinder and two Land Cruisers before that.

Just bought a new double cab 4x4. Prior to that- a 95 Tacoma x-tra cab 4x4. 163,000 miles and still runs and looks great.

actually i still have my previous car a 1990 Rallysport Camaro, has a 305 V8 and a 5 speed transmission, its an awsome car, but were i live i need a 4x4 in the winter, a camaro is a rolling disaster during snow storms.

I had a 99 ranger 4x4 that was on the tow truck more than I drove it so I traded that shit in for a 2004 Toyota Tacoma Double door v6 Prerunner SR5 OFF ROAD PACKAGE BABY

Traded my old 70 f-150 in for my 99 taco 4X4 ext. cab,we out grew that but we still have it. We bought a 04 Nissan Titan 4X4 off road, big tow Crew Cab in March and love that truck oh this has some get up and go.... not a hemi but can move.

I'm a Chevy guy way down. I had a '93 Lumina and a '93 Corsica. Also played around with a '99 Blazer LS, but now I have a Toyota, and love every bit of it.

I traded a 96 Chevy Blazer for my 99 Tacoma PR. Best trade I ever did. Chevy was in and out of the shop...My Tacoma...not once except scheduled maintenance.
