Extra seats in a '88 Spider?
I'm a high school student looking for a cheap used car. I passed by a '88 Alfa Romeo Spider the other day and it really caught my eye. After checking it out, I came to the conclusion that a 2-seater would not be a wise choice for a High School car. I don't know a whole lot about cars, especially Alfa Romeo's, but is it possible to spend some cash on installing some small seats behind the front seats? Excuse me if this is an unreasonable question. Thanks.

Are you serious? The space behind the seats is pretty small. THat and the substructure isn't very sturdy there. Under the floor are some of the modules for the fi if so equipped. I replaced the space with a speaker box and a lockable storage locker. As for a high school car, look for something a bit more dependable if you are not mechanically inclined. Don't get me wrong. I had a spider for 4 years. It was great when almost everything worked as intended. Too many stupid things that irritate ya on a semi constant basis to be reliable for everyday use.
