it has taking me a long time to get over 180 . if you have the govaner took out, you should top out a 170-172 and right about the 10 miles off.
if you have rims your sp is about 5miles off

Re: How Fast have you gone in your VR4?

that is not true i no for a fact not every us car has a "speed limiter"(govenor) they dont have to put them onto cars if they are considered high performance or sport something like that anyways lets just wait for this to be proven and then argue
payce

dawng this is comedy almost 10 pages of flaming on one guy that, as far as i can tell, is NOT talking a load of BS prolly just has some things mixed up. however you look at it with the whole language thing and all alot of shit can get mixed up. some really funny shit though. man i hate to think about how off the speedo is cuz thats means my 140 runs every sat and sun are really 130ish!!! and yeah if you got caught going over 100 thay can take you to jail, take your license, fine you, and slap you with two or more points on your driving record all in one day. (i found out the hard way ) so about this VR4 going 180 stock....... maybe, on a good day with a lot of room on a slight down hill.

Re: How Fast have you gone in your VR4?

VR4s do NOT have governors on them
Neither do any other 3S model

Re: How Fast have you gone in your VR4?

I think some of the Canadian Stealth NA's had a govenor in them. I think it was set around 145.
