STD vs DX 4gCivic
Is there easy way to tell if you are looking at a STD or DX 4gCivic?
I am going to look at one that the guy doesnt know what it is. It is a early 89 with the seatbelt in the A-Piller, not the door, like the 88 There is no DX on the back... There is no Clock It has a tilt steering wheel?!? It has a 5spd (was this an option on the STD?) Without taking the car apart how do you tell? I thought that the STD didnt come with the tilt wheel It was the only thing becides the smaller hubs, I thought... Did the STD come with the funny Cat under the hood like the HF? |

Re: STD vs DX 4gCivic
Ok...
That is what I was thinking, but...WHY The tilt wheel? Or the 5spd? Was the 5spd a option on the STD or only the DX Just want to know for future reference What are the other differences between the two? |

its not as bad as you think. it actually hauls a good amount of ass on the hwy. looooong 3+4 gears. then again, i swapped to a b16a, so i have no room to talk about coping with slow stuff
