replaced booster. now cruise don,t work=-
brake booster replaced by my skilled backyard mechanic.
now the cruise control ain,t working. i,m assuming the cable was pinched. how easy is it to replace the cruise control cable? |

i apologise.
1998 lumina, 3.1 litre. about 232,000 miles on it. cruise control always worked perfectly. i,ve been posting so much about a brake booster issue that i figured i was replying or whatever. or everyone knew my junk automatically. sorry again. As always I thank you guys for your advice. |

OK...I believe the cruise control module is mounted on the left (drivers) side strut tower. That is in the area of the booster. I would check to be sure the module is plugged in, then verify that the cable from the module is ok between the module and the throttle body. If all that is ok, as stated by another poster, I would check the adjustment of the brake switch.
