rear wiper doesn't work

My rear wiper stopped working. The light on the instrument panel button does not light up either. I have replaced the fuse, but that did not do anything. Now what?

Also the dome lights stay on all the time - even when all doors are shut.

Also, the rear does not always shut.

HELP!

Check the wire harness at the rear hatch, see if they have been pinched or cut from opening and closing the rear gate. In most cases the door plungers work off of the grounding of the plunger if the wire for the rear plunger is cut it could be grounding on the body or frame{if 98 or older, cant ground on the plastic body parts} This is just a guess, I have a 98 montana and my rear wiper quit working, I found that the wife turned the wiper on with the bike rack in place and the worm gear stripped out.
