popping noise

I have a 2016 toyota corolla with a metallic loud popping noise coming from the right side. I cant really tell if its front of rear. It gets faster and slower when doing either. I dont think its the axle because its not popping while turning. The axles tend to be quieter when they are making noise. I made a video so people can hear the noise.

Re: popping noise

From the audio it sounds like something in the engine. There's really no video so I can't see where you think the video is coming from or correlate it to vehicle speed or engine speed.

When you say it gets faster and slower can you tell if it's related to engine speed or vehicle speed?
