1994 626 2.0 flooding
if the fuel pressure regulator control solenoid goes bad, can it cause the car to flood or not start?

You know its gone ? I had a problem similar and a number of issues cropped up. The coolant temp. sensor which in today's cars acts as the "choke" regulating fuel supply went bad; the valve cover gaskets were leaking oil down to the plugs which effected the spark which caused constant flooding and fouling of the plugs, or "flooding" at which point the car was dead.No amount of cranking would start it even after sitting overnight. New plugs got it started eventually but all the other issues will need to be resolved. My 2 cents |
