CRC mass airflow cleaner
CRC makes a mass airflow cleaner that is safe to use to clean your MAF sensor
I did mine along with oil change and coolant tank coolant change. After I flushed my radiator. I now every 6 months pull the coolant tanks hose and drain coolant out of the tank and replace with fresh coolant. As for the MAF cleaning.. real easy and it did seem to make an improvement..Just spray it down wait about 30 min to dry good. All auto parts store should now stock it. Advanced auto had it. |

Re: CRC mass airflow cleaner
Yes, that's good stuff. CRC's electronics spray cleaner works well too. It may be the same stuff for all I know. I've eliminated fuel trim DTC's for people with just a simple spray down of the MAF sensor.

Re: CRC mass airflow cleaner
And that stuff is a lot better on the plastic parts than brake cleaner or carb. cleaner..
