Fujimi Puma Evo VII
I love this car!!
It's the class 2 champion in Super Taikyu 2001 driven by Nakaya Akihiko and Kinoshita Takayuki. The kit looks like a standard Evo VII kit, standard rear spoiler which only matches the real car in the very early season. They changed to a GT wing from race 3 or so. Also the real car has different side mirrors, the kit only comes with standard ones. That's the only thing, otherwise I'm very happy they released this kit I hope I don't mess up the decals!!

I'm more interested in the WRC Evo 7 from Fujimi. Can you tell me whether it is a proper WRC-spec or a road car with WRC markings? BTW, have you heard any news on Tamiya plan for a WRC Evo 7? TIA! Wong |

It's just the standard kit with WRC stickers. HLJ says "Standard curb-side kit of the Lancer Evo.VII with WRC decals. Rally option parts are not included. "
I havent seen the actual kit itself.. and no news from Tamiya if they're making one. The Tamiya Impreza WRC Great Britain just came out on 20th, and it was announced like 2 months ago.

stalled...?
I don't know what to do with the interior... the kit comes with standard Evo interior. here're 2 pics of the real interior..
I might be able to use the Arai rollcage. I was gonna use the seats from Arai too but looks like the real seats are really short, can't even see them through the windows. Are there any Evo model with rally interior? I think even Evo VI interior will fit.

I do need a 2 seater interior.. the fujimi one I got is the bucket type interior piece separate from floorplan piece. I wonder if Tamiya or Hasegawa's are like that or just panel pieces and seats etc put on the floorplan piece (Tamiya Arai is like that). I think I'll get the Tamiya kit to see, maybe just use individual pieces like rollcage..
