Talking 2.2L ecotec or or 2.4L?

In the Z24 cavalier which of these two engines is better for tuning. There both 4cyl right?

Is it possible to get the old V6 3.1 L for the new model cavaliers? If so where?

the new ecotec, most definetly. It will have more support from GM, because the 2.4 is dead. plus the ecotec can handle more hp stock than the TC. YOu cant get a 3.1 in a new cav

thanks, anyways you said you have a '97 z24. that has the 2.4L. what kind of mods do you have and where did you get them. Do people have to spend alot of money on custom parts to tune cavs
