Yes it is...it's a real #'s matching Hemi car...it won an award (Daimler Chrysler) at Carlisle this year...and it was picked for a photo shoot in Mopar Collectors Guide at the Mopar Fest (New Hamburgh, Ontario) show...it is the 1st Mopar that I have owned and now Mopars are all that I want.....oh yah...Hemi's Rule

But you what I don't understand. If a GTX and a Superbee are Mopars high profile cars, why did they model them after a Satellite and a Coronet. Those where the low profile cars. And also A 70 superbee don't look too great, I think they should of stuck with 69 look.
The Superbee was the same level package as the Road Runner, not the GTX. The 'Bee and the 'Runner were the stripped-down, cheaper muscle models, intended more to be raced and to be affordable by younger buyers. The Plymouth GTX and the Dodge Coronet R/T were the top-level models, loaded with all the power options, but with more luxury optons as well. More expensive, but definitely higher-end. The lower-model Dodges (the Coronet Custom, 440, and 500...just names, not engine size) and the lower Plymouth (Belvedere, and Sport Satellite (there are others, I'm not a plymouth guy as much)) were offered for everyone else. those are the cars moms drove, they came in 4-door and even wagons.

it's not that most Superbees came with the 6-pak option, but it's that everybody who has a '69 Bee wants to make theirs into one. Same story with the Road Runners with the Six-Barrel package (not 6-Pak). most came with other engines in fact, they're just not as noticed because they lack the huge scoop and lift-off hood.

The 6-Pak setup was available on Superbees, Chargers, Roadrunners, GTX's, and Coronet R/T's, Challengers, and Cuda's 'till 1971. There are even a few '72's that slipped out with the package on them, although it wasn't advertised.

The company that offered Hemi heads for other big-blocks is Stage V Engineering. They cost a pretty penny...you'll probably be spending about $5,000 on the conversion. In addition, you have to do some griding on your block to get pushrods to fit, etc. a LOT of work and money, could be spent on just hopping up your big-block (IMO).

Re: Charger vs. Superbee

no they didnt. but there is a guy in stoughton mass that made a 71 daytona and a 71 superbird off of some pictures and specs he got off line. he found the designs of what the cars would look like and made them. i believe the daytona is in an issue of mopar muscle.
