My truck hiccups!??
Hi. I just bought a 1990 Isuzu pickup. Engine is 2.6L 4 cylinder with fuel injection. When i first drove it every 5 miles it would start hiccuping as if it wasnt getting fuel. I would have to cut the truck off and coast for a few seconds then cut it back on(its a straight shift) and it would be fine for another 5 miles and then it'd do it again til i cut it off again. This has gotten worse this week as it now does this every mile or two. I did a tuneup today on it including replacing fuel filter, spark plugs and wires, distributor cap, air filter. Also the O2 sensor and battery were recently replaced by the previous owner. The previous owner told me it was the fuel pump but others have told me thats not possible as the fuel pump either works right or not at all. I'm stumped...

Re: My truck hiccups!??
It is better you get the fuel pump checked as well. if still it is doing the same i would suggest you to contact a local technician who can help you on this.
