Great color on your civic. I must get some Tamiya masking tape cause I thought that the paint would bleed through like the masking tape I used from 3m so I stopped using it. Thanks for the information.

Veyron,
Where did you get that green mat on you work surface? Right now I have a piece of glass painted white, but I like the markings on that mat. Got another second with the Dino 246 GTS at the Downeastcon in Maine last w/e, and a 2nd with the CLK-GTR. |

this 40mm tape appears to be made by NICHIBAN.
i am an intern architect that builds models all day everyday, and can convey that the professional guys all swear by the NICHIBAN tape. apparently, it is super thin. it is highly sought after, since there is no US distribution. however, if you want the same stuff, perhaps there are online outlets with the NICHIBAN tapes - you can get it in larger quantities too. thanks for the tips! |

hehe i will stick with mine that is 24 inches wide ... just cut to size ..
sometimes dealing with vinyl graphics has advantages. |

Great tutorial, Veyron! That will be useful for us all.
BTW I like the color of your Civic.
