Re: Progress - 1:12 Skyline R32 GTR
Commonly known as an endlink. Connects between the end of the sway bar and the control arm. Couldn't find a decent ebough picture on google, so here are a few crappy ones. If I was at home, I'd take a picture of my car and add a pretty red arrow. Oh well.

Re: Progress - 1:12 Skyline R32 GTR
hiroboy, i'm just so excited by this project i really am i've been a huge fan of your work and i always go to your website when i need inspiration, so i'm going to spen all the money i have an i'm going to buy this kit (er.....where do you get it ?) and i wont touch it until i've got my self a lathe and milling machine ! things like the drive shafts and suspension shochs are just absolutely amazing i really am impressed. so my current project (option magazine 350z) will just have to go on hold for the time being.

Scratch built exhaust so far, Back box (Muffler) and Cat bypass pipe both turned from Aluminium, (trying to get hold of a small peice of Titanium for the rear box, but it hard to find) Drop links (End Links) turned from Brass, as Willimo's sugestion... Thanks After a few weeks of waiting the tap and die set has arrived, The sizes are 1mm - 2.5mm (30 pieces in total). Thanks for looking guys, your keeping my interest going in this long project. |

Re: Progress - 1:12 Skyline R32 GTR
This is absolutely brilliant stuff. And the project car - R32 GT-R - couldn't have been a better choice.
We all wait your next shots and the next piece of the project to be completed. Good luck! |

Re: Progress - 1:12 Skyline R32 GTR
Great droplinks! Didn't mean to make more work for you, but I thought it might look silly to have the swaybar just flaoting in space like that. This model is going to be great, such fidelity to the real thing and such great skill in making it come out that way. Top notch.

Re: Progress - 1:12 Skyline R32 GTR
hiro boy you said you might not use the front bumper if you don't i'll buy it off you because i'm getting a nismo s-tune model and it would be good for the "individuality" also i'm going to do something REALLY stupid and put three, yes three turbos on mine only small ones though
