99 Blazer 4dr 4wd engine swap questions

Alright, I have a 1999 Blazer LS 4 door 4wd with the 4.3 Vortec, and I was wondering what, if any, v-8's would fit into the small engine compartment with little modifications. I wasn't sure about it at all because of the difficulties we had just putting another 4.3 in it because of the transfer case. I would like to put a 350 out of a early 90's 1500. Any info is greatly appreciated.

Re: 99 Blazer 4dr 4wd engine swap questions

Easiest swap is a 96-00 5.7 Vortec V8. All of the accessories swap to the V8 and minimal wiring modification is needed. You would need a V8 computer or get your 4.3's reflashed. LS motors will fit with a ton of modification.
