Cover all the colors you need to see at night? You mean green, yellow and red?

I guess you could think of the dichromi glass as "minus blue". They cut down glare and penetrate fog and rain better, because the blue isn't there to reflect off the suspended water.
In France, I've read that the their headlights had to be yellow, but that changed with the EU, to be standard.
