1997 Contour Idle
Hi guys,
I have a 97 contour that has idle probs. I have done all the regular stuff like vac hose check, fuel filter, cleaning maf, etc. I will now try to replace the IAC. On the 97 contour, it seems I have to get under the car to get to this damn thing. Is there a trick to getting at it? There is a copper tube (probably for the emmissions system) along with some other stuff in the way. The top bolt seems impossible to get to. What do I have to take out to get to this thing? Are there any tricks as far as tools go? Too small of an area to get an impact on it seems. Any ideas? Thanks! Rich |
