Some Harley jokes
Don't hate post me...I love Harleys, but funny is funny...
Harley-Davidson: The most efficient way to convert gasoline into noise without the adverse side effect of horsepower. Did you know 95% of all Harleys are still on the road? The other 5% actually made it home. Is it true that Harleys are chick magnets? Yes, but only if the chick has a steel plate in her head. What's the cheapest way to get another 50hp from your Harley? Trade it in on a Kawasaki. Why do Harleys have fringe? So you can tell if they're moving. How do you know your Harley is handling great? You can almost keep up with the logging trucks when you're riding in the canyons. How is a Harley Davidson like an old dog? They both like to ride in the back of pickup trucks. What is the difference between a Harley Davidson and an old dog? The dog can get in the back of the pickup by itself. What's the difference between a Harley and a Harley owner's home? The Harley costs more and has fewer wheels. How do you now you're riding a Harley? While coming off an exit-ramp you get passed by a Vespa. Why don't Harley riders wave at sportbike riders? Because they don't want to drop their tools. What's the difference between a Hoover and a Harley? The position of the dirtbag. |

Re: Some Harley jokes
I haven't had a motorcycle for 25 years, came here out of bordom at work. Those jokes are funny, they applied 25 years ago too. Now do some BSA jokes.

Re: Some Harley jokes
As an owner of an 01 Fat Boy, and a previous owner of an 85 Honda Magna, I can still appreciate those jokes Jeff (you jerk, ). My dad had an AMF 77 Sportster, and it was an oil leaking, points eating, loud obnoxious pig, and I told him most of those jokes myself.
In Harleys defense, I still say there is no sweeter mechanical sound than a Harley with a set of nice pipes. Plus when it comes resale time, they hold their value quite well. Their build quality has improved a ton, and my Uncle has a softtail Nighttrain with about 140 RW hp. So if you're in Flint, MI, and see a guy that looks like Hulk Hogan on a Nighttrain, beware, he may embarass your Sport Bike.

Re: Some Harley jokes
He has yet to get an official time slip, but this thing is STUPID fast (only in a straight line obviously). He's gonna put a bigger rear tire on it this winter to get it to hook, as it just roasts the tire on it now. He has beaten his buddy's modified V-Max and a built, chain drive converted V-65 magna, a ZX-11 and a big-bore Gixer that I know of for sure.

Re: Some Harley jokes
I agree ECM, funny is funny, and we all know that at one time in Harley's history (read...AMF years) many were painfully true. You can't take life, yourself, or brand loyalty too seriously.
