I don't think he's sure of anything. You think the car is slow? Well, it's not a Ferrari, but this is a pretty quick little sedan.

i don't think that's an A4 look at the back lights they seem to curve..... that looks like an A6 to me.... and i'm pretty sure that A4s have much more than 150hp

No, no it's the new A4, I know it looks very A6ish though, here's the A4 Hp ratings as of 2001

A4 (1.8L Turbo):170Bhp@5900
A4 (2.8L): 190Bhp@6000
S4 (2.7L Biturbo): 250Bhp@5800

So you were right Hp-wise

That's the new A4 coming out for 2002 model year. But the hp rating you quote are for the old generation.

New generation have

3.0L 220 hp V6.
1.8L Turbo 170 hp i4.

The S4 will be current generation S4. It will go on sale as a special edition until early springs. The new S4 is expected to arrive mid 2003.

It is too, Now almost all Audi's overlap. Except the TT, but that's a lowered 4wd Beetle. BTw, F20C's your cars are amazing!

Anyone notice the 2002 A4 is looking very similar to the VW Passat?

Even down to the 2 chromed front grills! With them bringing the A3 to the US, and VW introducing the W8 Passat... I know that Audi is supposed to compete w/ BMW (and it seems to be doing a decent job of it) - but VW with Mercedes-Benz??? Just seems a bit outclassed, although I'll admit that the new VWs (I've owned a 1996 Jetta, one of my friends bought a 2000 Jetta, and my gf bought a GTI 1.8T) are definitely heading in the right direction! Recaro seats (in the GTI anyway), interior is looking much nicer... but do you think it'll compete w/ Mercedes?

On Topic - 1.8L Turbo is pretty impressive in the GTI - even the 150 hp version. I'm sure the 180 hp version in the A4 and the 225 hp version in the TT is NOT slow by many standards.

That is possible , there are 4 cylinder engines with the V layout , but the most popular are inline 4... anyway the Audi A4 has the weekest version (not counting the diesels) with 2.0 and 130 hp , but i'm not sure about the 4-speed auto , they get manuals 5 or 6 gear , and a five speed tiptronic or a multitronic...

I was just wondering if anyone has had good or bad expirences buying cars off ebay like me?
I got the Audi A6 2000 before Xmas and I'm very satisfied with my new toy.
It's pretty much flawless inside and outside from what i can tell
Has anyone or does anyone know someone who bought a car on ebay also?
