Calsonic Skyline GTR
Okay might as well make my 5th post the stupid question of the millenium. I would really like to buy the Tamiya Calsonic Skyline GTR. Always been a favorite racer of mine, even though it never made it to the 24 Hours of Lemans (oh well nobody's perfect).
Anyway, I can't find any pics of the engine compartment. Does this thing have an engine, or is it just a curbside? I know that the Tamiya Porsches are curbside only, which is a great shame BTW. Any answers would be greatly appreciated. A pic or two would be nice also, as I suspect that at least one or two people around here have one of these built up. Seeing as how the Skyline is one of the most popular cars on this forum. And I figured that out after only four posts; don't take me long. Thanks, Michael |

its a curbside... the only engine detail you get is a big molded block that is supposed to be the engine, turbos, headers, exhaust, driveshaft, front end supports. nice big ugly chunk of plastic.
oh, be careful with the mirrors, they break VERY easily. i totally destroyed my kit, and ive since canibalized it for another project. ~mike

hehe... Which one?
The R32 *does* have an engine? Or so I'm told... And certain Porsches have engines, too? 959, perhaps? |
