Re: DDR SP4 Coming to America!
Is it supposed to look like a stubby McLaren?

Re: DDR SP4 Coming to America!
the pictures say it all
here's your car.....the DDR SP4 and here's the Mighty Mac See the resemblence? The thing is though, your car has a shorter nose, smaller headlights, and smaller wheels so therefore it looks like a stubby McLaren.

Re: DDR SP4 Coming to America!
My concern is: you feel better making "non constructive critics" from other peoples work??? I ask myself... I doesn't matter I hope your happy living in your perfect world.

Re: DDR SP4 Coming to America!
no no its not that. I respect what you have done, I mean you've made your own car out of scratch, but I really think that you should just speed a little more time on the body, because it could be painful driving around in your car and people point at you and say "I never knew there was an F1 kit car".

Re: DDR SP4 Coming to America!
yes, we can appreciate the work put into it. but it's not original in design. you've copied the F1. poeple wont appreciate that you've copied another car's design.

Re: DDR SP4 Coming to America!
DDR, you probably spent alot of time and effort into making the car, but you cut back on the body...The looks of a car can sometimes make it or break it. Just look at the Pagani Zonda, there are other supercars with a V12, carbon fiber tub, 600 hp, etc, but there's only one Zonda and that's because of its design. Copying the looks of a well-known exotic deoesn't help you get customers, or even respect for that matter. And besides as of now its 2 to 1.

Re: DDR SP4 Coming to America!
Anyone have an idea of how many DDR cars have been delivered? I've only seen the blue one (plus the other colors photoshoped on their web site).
Would love to see these guys succeed - but there's GOT TO BE more than one car! Has anyone besides them made it to a show with a completed car? |
