^^coolant spilling on crv!^^

My gf's 1999 crv is spilling or spraying coolant. When i open the hood, there's coolant spray on the hood and near the throttle body. I refilled the coolant reservoir to full and proceed to drive her home and whenever I am at a stop, the temp gauge goes up and moves normal when I start driving When I checked the reservoir again, the was 1/2 gone within maybe 10 miles of filling up. Please help me pinpoint the problem. thanks!!

Could be a bad cap, but my 98 had a crack in the radiator top tank. The tank is plastic and had to be replaced.

Sounds like a bad hose. Don't over heat that thing.

Turn the heater on max, to help keep the engine running cooler!
If no Heat, Turn engine off ASAP.
