1994 Vision TSI
I have a overheating promblem. I have removed the t-stat, flushed and reversed flushed the motor, heater core , radiator, replaced the water pump. If I drive about 12 miles it just overheats. The rest of the time to temp is fine. This happens either driving it hard or taking it easy. Thank.

Re: 1994 Vision TSI
Hard to tell.
Is the coolant adequate and 50/50 mix? Is there a leak that loses coolant, e.g. a hose or fitting? Does the cooling fan turn on? |

Re: 1994 Vision TSI
Fan turns on I notices a little white smoke coming out the exhaust. So either bad head,or gasket or really bad cracked block.

Re: 1994 Vision TSI
Run a Compression test on the cylinders. Any leakdown points to what you may already have thought. Ouchers.
